We Want Sam Allardyce Not Shambles Allardyce, a Postmortem

Oba may have said anyway he likes about Sam’s effort for Newcastle so far this season. Martins says there is ‘no point’ in Newcastle United losing faith in manager Sam Allardyce. That’s before today’s match, and I believe he will have regret of saying that after the match.

Allardyce only took over at St James’ Park in the summer, there has already been speculations about his future after an indifferent start to the season. No speculations after what we have seen today. Allardyce was totally helpless and don’t know what to do to managed a team with supporters that have big expectations like Newcastle United.

He may have one successful manager at small team like Bolton, and with high respect, I do salute him for what he did with his Bolton team. But, this is Newcastle United and for us, he didn’t show enough and there is absolutely no way we can wait until five defeats before he finally can tell has doing bad.

Alright, the team we are facing today is one of the big four, the title contenders, former holder of Champions Cup, the high-flying team so far this season but for god shake, please do something to cheer us and say yes, we are still have plenty to do to get into their level, but we are proud of what we saw on the field. The fact is it didn’t going that way!

More from Martins quoted from SkySports, “But it’s all good. All of the players are happy under Sam and we all like the way he does things.”

“People have to give him time, maybe two or three years. There is no point losing faith in Sam because he will bring the best out of this team if he stays.”

Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton has also offered his support to Allardyce, insisting the players are fully behind the manager. Again, show us that you are guys are truly supporting him and do your best on the field, I don’t think any Newcastle players are happy today.

To speak the truth, although I want to see Sam Allardyce finally do something right I also fear the worst of things could happened if this kind of display was going on too long. I’m not expecting we can have instant success, not in my wildest dreams we can win the Premierships this season or even two or three years from now.

The point is most of the Toon Army only want to see good displays, a life and death performance from Newcastle team in every fixtures. It doesn’t have to be a win in every game as long as we can see the battling action, something that has been far away from Newcastle United team this season under Sam Allardyce.

I truly hope Allardyce can do better, I want him to be the real Sam Allardyce as we have known him before, we don’t want a Shambles Allardyce, we want to see more of him in the next couple of games and see if he finally can find the right formula for Newcastle United.

We want quick response from him, and make it real in our next fixtures. Be quick or be Dead. How about you?
