Before the game was started today I have a slight concern that the dirty mackem were desperately want to see Tiote being sent-off in no matter what and they have to thank their extra man in the field for it.

Yohan Cabaye celebrates his goal against 5under1and

Yohan Cabaye gives the Magpies off to the perfect start in just three minutes of play and although the mackems and their helpers throwing everything they can in search for an equaliser, we held to our lead relatively comfortably.

It was until the 25th-minute before a disastrous moment happen when their 12th men, the referee Atkinson think that Tiote’s tackle was his chance to give a little joy to already sad mackems and produce a red for his challenge on mackem’s useless striker Fletcher.

And guess what, the 13th men who was act as the co-commentator for today’s match, their very own Matt Le Tissier immediately said that Tiote’s challenge was really deserved a straight red card.

What about Sebastien Larsson, a horrible cheating Scandinavian shite, he has got away with bloody hell of handballs in the box, not to mention he kicked Shola in the chest and didn’t get a single booking from the ref.

If it stays 11 vs 13 we would have absolutely put them down deep in a week full of misery. And even, with 10 vs 13 we were almost won it before O’Shea header hits Ba on the way past Krul, 5 minutes before the end of normal time.

In the post-game interview, Pardew told Sky Sports: ‘It was a magnificent effort. We said to the players before the game how important it was to the fans, we’ve now shown how important it is to us.

‘Playing an hour with 10 men, if we could have just seen it out it would have been one of the greatest victories ever here. But it’s a great point and I’m very proud of my players.’

It’s written in the stars many-many years ago, and will always be that way for many years to come that Newcastle United destined to be the better team in North East ahead of their so called arch-rivals Sunderland or the adopted derby rival, Middlesbrough.

They can claim as having the “more settled” team for the last two years with their recent multi-millions signings. But, two defeats and a draw in 12 months is the reality have to be seen from Steve Bruce derby record.

Both team starting the game with a draw against two harder opponents in the first campaign last week matchday. Newcastle set a goalles draw against Arsenal, where mackem’s only can save the bell while travelling to Anfield.

Newcastle may hardly threatened the mackem in an open play but, we are still creating danger from set-pieces and it was Ryan Taylor’s trademark free-kick that killed the stubborn Sunderland team.

And, after fallen behind, they they appeared to run out of ideas. The introduction of midfielder Craig Gardner, and South Korean striker Ji Dong-Won along with overrated £8m teenager Connor Wickham has nothing important to give for them.

We have another outstanding appearance from our skipper Fabricio Coloccini who dealt with everything the Black Cats threw in his commanding area. While Tim Krull was equal as calm as his senior infront of Toon’s goal.

To added a bonus from our last night brilliant result, we have another good sign of the prospect to land our last targets this summer.

As I said earlier on my previous post, we can land at least one of the possible two new signings this week. It was being reported from the inside source, Cissokho’s English-based representatives have met with Derek Llambias to discuss the deal for the Lyon left-back transfer.

A breathtaking game for the Magpies today against the Latics. 2-2 as the final score is not the result that I wanted to but I can say that I’m relief that we can get a previous point out of this frustrating match.

Fabrizio Coloccini celebrates his goal against Wigan Athletic

I can see the lads are in deep frustrations after conceded two goals from the former Newcastle United player that we used to cheer his name of, although I must admit he took it with the help from our own player, in this case that worst and worst James Perch.

I’m not the fan who make any judgement based on what I saw in one or two appearance, but Perch is draining my trust in him, from one game to another. He’s always late to return back to his own position after taking part in any of our attack, in most of all Newcastle games this season.

I think it’s the right time for Chris Hughton to put him on the bench and let somebody else to take his place and let him rates his own level of skills or join our reserves team where he (maybe) can sharpened his decent skill there.

Getting two goals down in first half, I almost give-up when I saw the lads are also looking helpless with some wrong passes and very little determination. I was also surprised to see Guthrie and Løvenkrands in the starting line-up.

I was thought CH will only include them in the bench, but to give them a start was not totally wrong decision. I think Hughton is giving them a game where they can get their touch back after being sidelined for long time.

In fact, Guthrie has couple of decent passing that almost lead Løvenkrands to his chance to put us back in the game in first half, but in second-half they both looks tired, and Hughton decision to take them both off to make way for Ameobi and Routledge was turning the table for us.

I also see the very minimum of decent services for our target men from both our wingers today. Gutierrez, beside making one excellent pass and a corner kick that leads to Ameobi and Coloccini goals, has a poor performance in my opinion.

Without Nolan, I think we are a little bit out of controll and no creation in midfield. Barton is playing too deep while Tioté is also not making any impact. Nothing special from Toon midfield today, that’s the reason why we only get one point I guess.

But, I still would like to give my thanks to all the lads (except Perch) for their fighting spirit and hope for the next games they will improve and start making more goals. We deserve to stay in this league, Howay the Lads!!!

Probably not the result that we wanted but all in all I’m quite pleased with the Lads performance today. We did keep the game very much alive and shows that this is not the same team that was relegated two years ago.

I should say the City fans will be very lucky to have the help from referee Mr. Atkinson for his two questionable decision that one gives the City a penalty reward for what in my opinion was not a fault by Williamson.

The other one is a more clearly a penalty for Newcastle when Lescott took down Shola Ameobi with a rather rash challenge inside the City box, but Atkinson waves his hands for a no-penalty decision, but we did fair play and not making much complaints about his poor decision.

One side-note that I would like to express here is that we are defending too much in second-half and not making more penetration to the home side since the start of second period.

I would love us to keep going into them just like what we did after Jonas marvelous strike give us the equalising goal to cancel out Tevez’s penalty.

Losing out Ben Arfa in just only four minutes into play was probably cost us this game, although we maybe not come home with a win, but with his presence in the field, I believe the City players will need to think again to force their players out to attack us.

Another good point from the Lads performance is the way Tim Krull has developing his skill. He has a quite excellent performance today and denied at least two City chances.

With the departure of Coloccini who suffered a groin injury, Sol Campbell came as substitute and for a player at his age, he did effectively to keep Adebayor out of his position and has no chance to do dangerous play infront of our goal.

Keep those spirits alive in every game and we will be fairly in save zone in January where I hope Mike Ashley will splash more cash to buy new players to strenghten our thin squad.

Until next time and thanks for visiting this blog, any comments are welcome. Howay the Lads!!!

We visit Stamford Bridge with everyone expecting us to get thrashed by the current Premierships leader, but we simply answer all those predictions with a good win.

The game itself starting as everyone wishes when Patrick Van Aanholt opened the scoring in six minutes on the clock but Nile Ranger, pay his terrible mistake who lead to Chelsea’s first goal, slide the ball home on 27 minutes.

Newcastle was far the better team after Ranger’s goal, and give some serious pressure on the Chelsea backline. Bruma foul on Shola Ameobi give us an opportunity to strike from an inviting angle at the edge of the area.

Toon set-piece expert Ryan Taylor, swing the ball into the far corner to put Newcastle ahead on 32 minutes. We almost make it 3-1 before half-time when Ameobi, who continuosly causing problems for Bruma, had a shot on goal, but Van Aanholt hook away off the line to save the London team.

We finally 3-1 up in just three minutes after the break and it was Shola Ameobi who gives the travelling Toon Army a reason to roar. Lovenkrands almost make it 4-1 and closed the contest if he not dragged his shot wide.

The London side has two goals from Nicolas Anelka including an 87th minute penalty to make them back level. But Jonas Gutierrez corner proven to be the match winning assist as the ball met by the head of Ameobi to notched his second and send Newcastle through.
