Fabrizio Coloccini is on the way to Toon according to agent

Kevin Keegan insists that he will bring two or three new signings before the end of summer transfer windows in about a month. The latest “possible” signing this week is the Argentinian midfielder Fabrizio Coloccini.

According to Fab’s agent, Marcelo Lombilla, the 26-years-old Coloccini who also can operate as defensive midfielder, has already agreed personal terms with Newcastle who are said to have made a £7.1million bid for the Argentina defender.

Lombilla also denied any report that suggesting other Premiership team is also have made an offer for the player.

“The only offer I am dealing with is that of Newcastle,” Lombilla said to a Spanish sports daily “Which is the one that I brought about.”

Regarding to Super Depor financial difficulties, the Spanish club president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro need to sell their players and Coloccini is the one who could be leaving the Riazor Stadium this summer.

Coloccini was part of the Argentina Under-20 that won the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship, as well as part of the gold medal winning Argentine team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Have won near 100 appearances for his country, He also participated in the 2005 Confederations Cup, scoring one goal in the Confederations Cup game against Cameroon. While in the 2006 World Cup, he played in two games, as a substitute against the Netherlands and as a starter against Germany in quarterfinals.
