This would be sounds classic, and probably also applied to most of any football club supporters everywhere. What so called football supporters are often divided into two major sides, one with more reasonable thoughts of what happen to their club, while on the other side there are supporters who see things the way they wanted it to be.

Toon Army start waving now for a new way to get better [Magpies Zone]

I have been looking around for a while since the first news about Joey Barton’s putting on a free transfer list to see if it’s actually genuine or just temporary fogged of reality in the world of football.

Now I see it as real and in between those days of “time and space” I have read many different thoughts about why this (always) happen recently to United players, or to borrow their words, United key players.

First we lost Andy Carrol, followed by Kevin Nolan, Jose Enrique and the latest one Joey Barton move to Queens Park Rangers, a newly come back team to the top flight after many years.

Quoted from his tweet, @Joey7Barton Joseph Barton – “I will always have a special relationship with the Geordie nation but sadly they are not the decision makers at St James’ Park.” and “I wish to thank each and everyone of them sincerely for their support.”

Now the question is if we (the Geordie nation) are the decision makers at St. James’ Park then to whom we will be throwing all the knives at when this club not performing so well under fans control? I personally would like to still have the boards and directors at the club, so we still have someone to blame.

The point is, it’s the time we grown up as a fan and try to add some balance of thought while making any statement about Newcastle United and the people who runs the club. Success cannot be reach instantly, we have tried that for many-many years without success and now let’s face it and accept the new way of building this team.

Although it may not an official one, as I don’t think the official club site is any bother to make any decent appreciation to what the lads been doing on the field. But, scoring against mackem, is the highest achievement that every Toon players can get.

That may sound funny but it’s more than just a local derby in North East, it’s about all your pride, and scoring against them will make you an instant hero in the eyes of Toon Army for the rest of your life.

What Taylor did last Saturday is even more special, he did it just one day after his 27th birthday on August 19, in his first ever appearance in Wear-Tyne derby since joining Newcastle in 2009. And to added more special on it, Ryan and his partner Kimberley is also expecting their first child near this week.

“It was nice and what a birthday present the goal was.” Ryan said as quoted from Telegraph, “That one was for the little bump in Kimberley’s belly. I’m going to dedicate it to the baby.”

“In addition to his goal, Ryan did ever so well and he deserves all the plaudits.” Alan Pardew said in a part of Wear-Tyne victory celebrations, “He’s (Ryan) a proud Geordie, and he was like a little boy in the dressing room afterwards.”

From the latest news, Newcastle is willing to make another steps to bring in the £6 million-rated defender, PSV Eindhoven left-back Erik Pieters, and Pardew is keen to add the 23 year-old to his squad just before Newcastle’s home game against Fulham next Sunday.

If we finally get the new left back player, that would certainly makes Taylor’s chance in Newcastle’s first team appear numbered. But, no matter how much longer his career is with the mighty magpies, Ryan Taylor has proven to be one of the adopted Geordie, and I personally congratulates him for his great achievement last Saturday.

I was more than happy if we can get at least one from possible two new signings before the end of summer transfer window. And, we are most likely to have a new left-back very soon next week as Alan Pardew is still confident about the possibility to get his last transfer targets this summer.

“We’re trying to make a stronger team than last season but not at that position yet, hopefully we will be.” said Pardew in the Daily Mirror.

Although the Erik Pieters saga is still in dark shadow, we still have fifty-fifty chance of getting the Dutchman. PSV club’s coach, Fred Rutten, revealed last week he was keen for Pieters to stay but admitted it was unlikely as the player himself is keen to leave and join Newcastle.

If we failed to realize the plan A, now we have a plan B in Lyon defender Aly Cissokho and is now the favourite for that position. He also got something that most of the Toon Army would like to see in each of Newcastle players, the ability to attacking the opponent.

In about two weeks now before the end of summer transfer window, Newcastle still looking for players to fill in some key positions. One of them is the Mali international striker Modibo Maiga who has reiterated that he wants to join Newcastle United.

Born in Mali 3 September 1987, Maiga prefered position is forward but he also can play as a winger. With Sochaux during the 2010/11 campagin, he struck up 30 goals in partnership with Ideye Brown with each scoring 15 goals.

The question is, although Sochaux has qualified for the Europa League play-off, and scheduled to face Metalist Kharkiv in their first leg campaign on Thursday, Maiga still keen to join us and I hope he has a good will in whatever he has in mind by joining us this season.

I just worried that what he did to his current club is going to happen to us in a year or two, if he’s then actually did very good for us and scores many goals. Meanwhile Nicolas Anelka wants to quit Chelsea as he feels being overlooked in favour of Chelsea’s new boy Fernando Torres this season, maybe he’s a better choice to pursuit than Maiga?

But, I really do hope that if Maiga’s deal finally get through and he wears the sacred Black-n-White shirt, he will have the same spirit as the other successful Toon foreign players has done before him.

The same hope is also for our new boys who already in the club, especially for this Saturday match against the mackem.

“There is no greater feeling than sinking Sunderland in a black-and-white shirt.” said Nobby Solano as quoted from the Chronicle Live today.

Solano is also hoping that our new stars like Demba Ba, Yohan Cabaye and Gabriel Obertan can quickly know if they did score that day, they will become a hero of the Toon Army worldwide. So, get ready lads! There’s no easy way against the mackem but it’s a game where your whole pride is in!

After the long conversation between Newcastle side and Deportivo’s officials, 26-year-old Coloccini looks set to wear the sacred Black-and-White this season after both clubs reach the final agreement for his transfer.

Keegan will be pleased to sign central-defender Coloccini for £8.25m this weekend, and the United official announcement is expected on Monday.

Coloccini will join his Argentine national team-mate Jonas Gutierrez who already signed for Toon last month. Both would be usefull addition to our thin squad, especially in defence. We have suffered 65 goals last season, one of the worst season in United Premiership years.

With Coloccini presence, KK is hoping to have find the perfect player to break our worst defensive record. And other news coming today that Keegan is also chasing Blackburn’s £5m-rated left back Stephen Warnock.
