The stories continues. The Kingdom of NorthEast still wondering who will be in charge after they have lost their new knight who is just 8 months in charge. The War is not completed, and his deputy now sweating about the possibility to go to the rests of the war.

Meanwhile, the new King and his Joker, still working on one meething to another, and outside the castle the people of Geordieland are busy with their own speculations about who is the upcoming hero for them. The local young lad, who has been involved in many of the Kingdom battles before, now waiting for any knock on his door, and so does his old mentor Lord Keegan.

The former knight deputy who is in charge now, has so little power, no long-term plan, job security and no idea who is coming to take the remaining soldiers, but Nigel Pearson’s face all of this sudden tasks bravely. This is was his second time had to cope with the removal of a knight he has helped for at Geordieland.

He has taste his first defeat in a battle last weekend, and it was something that he didn’t want to experience again. But tonight, He will be in for another duty again, and to raise his sword up high and give commands to the Black-and-White army in a war against the challenge from Stoke City and this time he knows it that he is simply cannot contemplate another defeat.

It is surely an uncertain and uncomfortable time for everyone at the Kingdom against the Potteries who is in a normal battlefield, with proper knight in charge, was some short of the enemy who can be easily hammered into pieces. Too bad, now they look like a dragon with eleven heads to fight for the Black-and-White army.

And to give more of the uncertain, the King of the Gallowgate is now forced to include any possibility of an imported Knight to rule his Kingdom army, and the story continues…

Like it or not, the United dream team from Kevin Keegan’s era is nothing but history now and we should not look back and keep going up. We should change our “Nevermind losing 5-4 rather than win 1-0” from now on we must start to think “I do prefer we win 1-0, but demand progress”.

imageToday, United caretaker Nigel Pearson insists Newcastle United have to quickly forget the disappointment of Saturday’s 6-0 defeat at Old Trafford and be more well prepared for the visit of Stoke City at Gallowgate on Wednesday.

“Of course the Man Utd game was disappointing, but it was always going to be a difficult given everything which has happened this week,” he said, “It hurt our professional pride but we have to take it and get on with things.”

“We have a huge game on Wednesday against Stoke and we have to make sure we pick the players up. It’s another important game which we will be going all out to win in front of our fans and hopefully we’ll get the result to take us through.”

The FA Cup third round will be Nigel first ever on his career with Newcastle to lead the squad for two Toon games in a row. I’m personally looking for the FA Cup replay as a potential win game under his arrangement. And as long as the new manager haven’t been chosen, he will have more Toon games in hands.

Yesterday, Chris Mort has made another official statement about the process of appointing a new manager at Newcastle United. He said to have identified and spoken to a number of potential candidates.

“This is a very important appointment – our first since taking control of the Club – and we will take as long as required to make sure we bring in the right person.” Mort said, “That person will be someone we believe will be able to deliver successful results and performances to accompany that.”

And today, Chris Mort is to believe already have a meeting with the owner Mike Ashley after back from his business trip.

“We will continue to devote our time to the very important task of selecting the right person to manage Newcastle United and we will make a further announcement when appropriate.”

United first head coach Nigel Pearson will lead the Newcastle United squad for today fixtures against Manchester United at Old Trafford, following the parted agreement of Big Sam couple days ago.

When Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder resigned on Sunday 6 May 2007, Nigel Pearson took charge of the remaining game of the season, away to Watford. Pearson stayed on at Newcastle as a coach, following the arrival of Sam Allardyce as manager at the club.

Nigel Graham Pearson born August 21, 1963 in Nottingham. During his football career as a player, Pearson played as a defender for Shrewsbury Town, Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough.

His most successful years were spent playing for Sheffield Wednesday. Won the League Cup as Sheffield Wednesday captain, during the 1990-91 season, and selected as ‘Man of the Match’ in the final at Wembley. During the same season, he also helped Sheffield Wednesday win promotion to Division One.

During the 1992-93 season, he helped Sheffield Wednesday reach both domestic cup finals, but sadly broke his leg in the League Cup semi-final, and therefore could not play in either final. He is still regarded by Sheffield Wednesday supporters as a club legend, and will always be remembered.

His managerial career starts as the manager for Carlisle United 1n 1998-1999. Joining Bryan Robson as his assistant at West Bromwich Albion, and took over as caretaker manager when Robson left the club in September 2006. On February 1, 2007 Pearson confirmed as assistant coach for the England U21 team manager until after the 2007 European Championships.

Joining United coaching staff on October 19, 2006. Linked with the job as Sheffield Wednesday manager’s position, he instead took over as assistant manager of Newcastle United, taking over from Kevin Bond. Pearson’s influence was most apparent in Newcastle’s defence, which looked a lot more composed after Pearson became assistant manager.

And with no further news about who will be the next manager for United, many Toon Army believe that if Pearson can come up with good result at Old Trafford today, He will be appointed as the caretaker manager until the end of the season, to give more time for Mike Ashley to looking for the best manager for Newcastle next season.

Newcastle United has today oficially announced the end of Sam Allardyce career at Newcastle United. From the official site they said that the decision has been reached by mutual agreement and United First Team coach Nigel Pearson will take charge of the team for Saturday’s game at Manchester United.

“Mike and I would like to place on record our thanks for Sam’s efforts and wish him well for the future.” Newcastle United Chairman Chris Mort said, “A new manager has not yet been appointed at Newcastle United. We will make a further announcement on the managerial position when appropriate.”

“I am disappointed to be leaving Newcastle United but I wish the Club all the best for the remainder of the season and for the future.” Big Sam said.

I’m really shocked by the club decision, and feels very sorry for Big Sam. He has all the difficult times since taking the job at United last summer. With his departure, there’s only one name so far who could be his successor, and maybe Alan Shearer finally say something to United board of Directors and he will take the hot seat soon.

Farewell Big Sam!
