“Steven Taylor is a Winner” Big Sam

Steven Taylor will not going anywhere, his future still with Newcastle United. The 21-year-old United Academy graduate center-back will fight every inch of the way for his place in the side, and Sam Allardyce believe that he will win his place back.

“I know he’s very disappointed not being involved at the moment, but he’s a young player for the future for us, and I think he’ll get back in. If he does get back in, and when he gets back in, I hope he keeps the shirt.” Said Big Sam.

Allardyce admitting that Tayls has shown a first-class attitude in training, and his determination to get his place back was pleasing Sam Allardyce.

In an interview with the Chronicle yesterday, Taylor admitted that he don’t know where the rumours of him being left in vold for the last Newcastle matches because of him being rubbish last month at City of Manchester Stadium.

“This is all part and parcel of being a professional footballer. The manager picks the team and I will always respect his decisions.” He said.

When asking about his new contract problem, Taylor insists that he is only concentrate to his football and will let the new contract stuff to somebody else to solve, and in this case his manager who is also Taylor’s father.

Steven Taylor new contract is still on the negotiation, and many other Premier League team are monitoring the situation, with the hope to get him in January. Chelsea assistant manager Steve Clarke was in touch with Taylor’s contact in North East, as well as both Manchester United and Liverpool.
