Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is planning to raids on Spain’s Real Madrid players Raul and Deco to Tyneside this summer. The news is from the News of the World (NOTW) which can be pronounce as NOWT aka Nothing is significantly be a true story. However, the Newcastle United Blog[1] said, ’it is in line with what we heard last week that Ashley will give Sam the money for one big signing before the summer is out’
Well, let’s pretend that the news is true, then I would prefer to have Deco in our squad, but Raul? He’s getting towards the end of his career, and although Big Sam can probably still get the best of him, still he’s a surpluss, unless we let Oba going back to Italy to join Juventus.

Meanwhile, Michael Owen is expecting his third child. Owen and his childhood sweetheart are said to be delighted at the prospect of their new arrival in the autumn. Louise (Owen’s wife) showed off her neat baby bump in a fabulous designer dress when attending Michael England team-mates John Terry and Steven Gerrard.

Other news is coming from Evening Chronicle’s columnist Lee Ryder, who said that the Carling Cup as Newcastle United’s most realistic chance of silverware for Sam Allardyce in his first season in charge. Later on the report, previous Toon managers have often taking the League Cup too lightly that resulting in some desperately disappointing exits in recent years, but Big Sam is keen to change that.

Allardyce revealed his plan for silverware at Newcastle and put club the priority this season in the Carling and FA Cup as well as finishing as high as we can in the Premiership. We have no distractions of Europe this year, so it means we can go all guns blazing in the Carling and FA Cups.

More from Lee Ryder, one of the past Newcastle deadly striking force in McGhee-Quinn, Mark McGhee[2], today declared that our attacking partnership of Mark Viduka and Michael Owen will spread fear throughout Premiership defenders.

Former St James’ Park favourite starred in one of the most goal-laden partnerships in the Magpie history when he combined with Micky Quinn in the early 1990s. Since then United fans have enjoyed partnerships from Kelly and Peacock, Cole and Beardsley and the latest one in Shearer and Ferdinand, but have been recently starved of two regular goal-scoring predators in the side at the same time.

More to add, McGhee sees the similarities between himself and Viduka, and has welcomed him as Toon player, he also believing that Viduka will combine well with Michael Owen.
