No Disciplinary Action Against Undisciplined Players

We have a big laugh on the FA decision to let the matters off without further action taken to the club or the players who are involve in an alleged headbutt when Spurs crushed Arsenal 5-1.

“The FA will not take any formal disciplinary action against over the incident involving Arsenal team-mates Emmanuel Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner during the Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Tottenham but will write to both players to remind them of their responsibilities.”

It was Bendtner who appeared to complain of being headbutted by his team mate Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor.

William Gallas who is stepped inside and to try to calm down the Danish striker also being confronted. Arsene Wenger when asked about the accident say he didn’t see it, what a funny manager he was.

Wenger’s relief he must decide how best to proceed with internal discipline while defusing the feud between the players. Adebayor and Bendter were simmered each other for some months before erupting during the Carling Cup semi-final on Tuesday.

FA requested the copy of the television footage after referee Howard Webb confirmed he did not witness the accident. After seeing the television replays, Webb felt it was inconclusive and could not recommend issuing retrospective charges. Yeah, right, Webb didn’t see Adebayor bloodied Bendtner nose too?

I wonder if there’s any justice done for Dyer and Bowyer who are also involve in similar violent conduct and both being sent-off in 2005 while Newcastle down 3-0 to Aston Villa.

The FA decision to free Adebayor makes him allowed to return to Arsenal’s FA Cup fourth-round starting lineup encounter with Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow, but Bendtner is unlikely to feature.
