Newcastle United injury update

Damien Duff, the forgotten man of Newcastle United recently have been pledged his commitment for the club and its supporters that he will paying back what the club have been paid for him.

His fellow Irish national team-mate Shay Given have spoken on the official website that the Toon Army have not seen the real Duff so far. After his £5M transfer from Chelsea last year’s summer, Duff first year with the black-and-white have been filled with injury, and he is expecting to make a comeback early November after damaging ankle ligaments at Portsmouth in April.

Wearing a blue training kit, Owen embarked on a series of shuttle runs and fitness work which suggests he is well ahead of schedule in his bid to return to full fitness, the Daily Mail reported.
