New Newcastle United has seen the benefit from a good partnerships and understanding between players, manager and the fans. It seems that everyone’s involved in Black-and-Whites tradition are now re-United and only have one goal which is a successful Newcastle United.
Tyneside may have the cold of winter’s weather coming lately, but deep inside everyones heart is having the warm of summer regarding to the positive outcome from the United team recently. Let’s keep it this way and moving forward each week.
One thing that still need more attention was our defensive inadequacies which did the damage in our last two Premier League home fixtures. Big Sam still need to give more attention to United’s back four to guarantee that such thing will not going to repeat in the future.
Newcastle have an away match next week to Fulham’s Craven Cottage who face their second defeats yesterday against Everton. They also defeated by Manchester United and have conceded 5 goals and scores nothing.
And from a draw with Arsenal last Wednesday, Newcastle starts to have put the worst and any pressure behind. Yesterday’s second half final minute call of luck saw Emre swung in a hopeful corner to the front post.
Beye had not scored any goal in nearly two years, but yesterday was his right time to start producing goals again when he darted in Emre’s corner ahead of Sebastian Larsson to divert the ball over the line.
Sam Allardyce admitted he felt a sense of relief after the win over Birmingham, but warned everyone don’t go complacent. He sees it as a step in the right direction but there’s more work to do.
“The relief is always when the whistle blows and you have won a game that you deserved to win,” said Allardyce. “Under the circumstances, it is a weight lifted off us all.”
Sam Allardyce recently been asking questions by the press and supporters about his game plans and team commitment before United’s last two home fixtures and he answer their questions with two performances which have gone in the right direction to put things right.
“The players have regained their bit of dignity and pride because it was a very good performance.”
