Oba Martins 45′, Caçapa 51′, Milner 73′ – Robbie Keane 57′

Sam Allardyce still add Joey Barton on the bench while Newcastle playing against Spurs tonight. Barton who has just recover from broken metatarsal is considered fit, but Big Sam will not push him to make a starter.

Another great appearance from the Bulls Enrique as he tries to get Martins away from Spurs defenders. Dawson is the only one who try to cut out the Spaniard’s measured pass, but it was too late as Martins is already face-to-face with Cerny. Oba doesn’t want to disappoint the crowd this time and he shoots through the legs of the Czech stopper for his fifth of the season.

Beye start the attack in 5 minutes into second half down the right but he can’t find room for a pass so instead rolls the ball back to Geremi.

United’s skipper takes a one touch and delivers the ball only to meet Kaboul who is forces it for a corner with a sliced clearance. N’Zogbia comes across to the Milburn Stand touchline and deliver the ball for Claudio Caçapa to direct a powerful header beyond a despairing Cerny for his first goal in black and white.

Seven minutes later, Zokoro crosses aiming for Bent on the penalty spot and the forward sees his glancing header beat Shay Given and strike the foot of the hosts post, the ball bounces back into the six-yard area where Robbie Keane is lurking to take the advantage of the Magpies sleeping defenders to make it 2-1.

Barton slips a pass wide to Enrique who in turn feeds Oba down the line, he darts in from the left and crosses only for Kaboul to clear as far as Enrique, the Spaniard sweeps a delivery into the penalty area where Kaboul again clears, this time it’s only as far as JAMES MILNER and he swings at fresh air with his right foot before steading himself to smash home from the edge of the area with his left for his first of the season.
