Andy Carroll has complete a loan move to Preston NorthEnd in his pursuit to become the next Toon Superstar. Carroll choose Paul Simpson’s team ahead of several club who has interest on his services.

Carroll has no less than twenty lower division clubs waiting for his decision lately before he finally choose Preston. The loan is made possible by Sam Allardyce, who’s thought he have enough cover for Toon front men, and the loan is good for Carroll to make experience and have numbers of game in hands before he is ready for a big call at Toon Squad.

There’s a few good players here and hopefully I can get on well with them, said Carroll, obviously he is delighted with the move and just want to play some games and get some goals under his belt. The 18-year-old will move to Deepdale until January after a personal recommendation from United boss Sam Allardyce.

Meanwhile, below are some of the latest news from other media that I think is interesting:

Evening Chronicle
Kieron Dyer move to West Ham was back on today with Newcastle United expected to bank around £8m for their controversial midfielder, while Nobby Solano was thinking over a move to the south coast and Portsmouth.

Well, to be honest after all, if I were Chris Mort or Mike Ashley, I will just let him go at £6m.

the Northern Echo
Sam Allardyce is expected to make his eighth summer signing later today when versatile Bolton midfielder Abdoulaye Faye completes a £2m move to St James’ Park. Trotters officials are understood to have accepted Newcastle’s offer yesterday evening and, with contract talks not expected to present any problems, Faye should be confirmed as Allardyce’s latest recruit provided he successfully completes a medical at United’s Darsley Park training ground.

It looks like the game is over for wor Carr, and he will be parked at St. James’ Parking lot for some time now if we finally get Faye signature.

Evening Chronicle
DAVID ROZEHNAL believes that Brazilian ace Caçapa could prove to be Newcastle United’s “special one” this season after arriving from Lyon with a reputation as big-game player. Czech Republic international star Rozehnal witnessed at first hand the powerful impact of the 31-year-old centre-back, who guided Lyon to five consecutive titles.

Well, if the two signs of success for Toon this year have the same words, then we can take a deep breath and focus on the winning strikes for each Newcastle game. But, I think Sam is now have put the right foundation for the club and be able to guide them towards for a very successful years to come.
