Another not so good news coming in last weekend about one of Newcastle United squad asking for an exit permit. Emre quoted as want to return home to join Galatasaray.

Former Inter Milan midfielder who is also first played for Galatasaray before joining the Italian club, is believe his chance to be on Allardyce revolution was down the pecking order following the summer arrivals of new midfielders like Geremi and Joey Barton, not to mention versatile duo Alan Smith and Abdoulaye Faye.

But Sam Allardyce has not taking the recent speculations too seriously as he still believe that Emre’s future was “not an issue” after he was linked with a January return to former club Galatasaray.

“There’s no chance of him going back to Turkey because the transfer window is shut, so he can”t go anywhere.” Well, at least not until January.

The Turkish side Galatasaray was also confirmed their interest to sign the lost boy back home.

Emre was developed by Galatasaray when he is still teenager. He made his first appearance for the Galatasaray’s senior squad as a sixteen-year-old in the 1996-97 season. The following year, he became a regular, and continued with the club through the 2000-01 season.

With Galatasaray, He has picking up a UEFA Cup winners medal in 2000 and UEFA Super Cup winners in 2001 after Galatasaray defeated Champions League winners Real Madrid 2–1.
