I have come up with a big question to what is Keegan’s role at signing new players to this club after read about Newcastle United have completed the signings of Italian striker Fabio Zamblera and Swedish goalkeeper Ole Soderberg without the presence of Keegan.

Both player are aged of 17, to have penned four-and-a-half-year contract at St. James’ Park and are part of the club’s new recruitment policy to bring the best young talent to Tyneside. Soderberg joins from Swedish side BK Haken and member of the Sweden’s Under-17 international.

“I am really looking forward to signing for Newcastle and the challenge that lies ahead.” Ole said as quoted from the official site, “There are lots of great players at this club and I hope that I can learn from the likes of Shay Given.”

While the Italy Under-18 star Fabio Zamblera who signs from Atalanta said about how impressed he is after seeing the St. James’ Park stadium.

“There are lots of very good strikers at this club and I know there are famous names such as Michael Owen and Mark Viduka.” Zamblera added, “I can also remember Oba Martins and Emre from when they played in Italy.”

It’s appears that both new players are come to Tyneside under the work of Jeff Vetere and Tony Jimenez, as there’s no picture of Kevin Keegan on the article posted in the official site, or this is what the press call it the changes in today’s football in which Keegan didn’t know about.

I was hoping that all these sudden changes will guide us to the more positive side and will not causing any conflict in the future.

I also hope it’s more to the new policy of bringing only young talents are the job discriptions of Dennis, Tony and Jeff, while Keegan will still have the authorities of signing the senior team players.

“I’ve got to concentrate more on the Academy. We need some more young blood coming through of our own, that’s something that needs to be looked at.” Dennis Wise said, “We also need to look abroad for young players and that is my intention for the next few years.”
