What Have You Done Sam?

This is not about yesterday’s lost, I agree that Newcastle United depth is being tested and the fact that we have more than 5 managers in a decade is the matter of a depth.

In fact, that depth for Toon are in two categories. First we have enough quantity depth but not in quality, and the second is we have in depth quality but not in quantity. This season we have qualities but not enough players to cover the quality and the odds continued as when any quality player gets injured then we are nothing.

Probably the January transfer windows will show the massice buy out from Toon to cover the depth, and this time Mike Ashley should be ready with some real significant cash.

Yesterday we have seen Owen being replaced in second half because he has slight groin muscle injury after having a knocked in first half. Although Owen insisted to keep playing, BSA considering his important and rested him in second half for the next games. Now, the other important issue is about Sam comments about other Premier League manager, in this case the Kop’s gaffer Rafa Benitez.

Sam said about how lucky is Rafa to keep his job at Anfield while he have no English League title in hands so far but two Champions League finals and one win from it.

I’s a bit disappointed about that and must be some other Toon Army. I think Sam should focus on his job only and don’t have to think or commenting on other fellow managers.

Meanwhile, I also smell something in here, as we will have a meeting with Liverpool in next couple of week time. I also somewhat thinking about who is the first journalist to write the story and from what media. Probably, the essence of the interview might have been over-written, you know how the media is, do you?
