Let’s say you were Sam Allardyce and have £50m to spend, what would you do? If I were Allardyce, the first thing that I will do is to make a bid to land Fernando Torres from Atletico Madrid. The Spanish side is asking a fee in the region of £20 million for the 23-year-old.What! Am I insane to bid another striker while we needed the most is some defenders?
