Newcastle held in a goalles draw at Loftus Road

Not the best game to watch so far at the start of this season from Newcastle United while the Magpies flying to Loftus Road, the nest of Queens Park Rangers, but I’m quite satisfied with the result.

A win and a farewell match for Newcastle and Steven Taylor

Canny showing against inferior opposition, and a victory that had us pondering in ‘Rupali’ on when was the last time we had a comfortable home win, and who was the last Toon player to score a hat trick at home. Taylor ends year of negotiations by signing new contract

Steven Taylor has finally committed his future to Newcastle United by signing a new three year contract. The 22-year-old began negotiations over a new deal last season and there were concerns that other clubs would come in for him while his future was uncertain. However, Taylor has ended any doubt by committing his future to Newcastle.

As being reported yesterday, despite numerously being linked with a big-money move to Arsenal since last year and having pressure from his loved one, Oba insists that he wants to stay in Kevin Keegan’s Toon revolution.
