Do You See It Now Quinn? Newcastle United Is the North East Giant!

April 21st, 2008 by shearyadi

I hope you still remember every single words you said earlier in the summer last year when your big mouth shout about you will bring your team to be the dominant force in the North East. The fact is you and your rookie manager will possibly bring mackems back to the championships next season.

Yesterday the lads were too generous to your team in the second-half after we did great in first-half and wor Michael Owen producing his best form for Newcastle, scoring six goals in six games for us now and he will keep scoring until May to take us end this season with more pride.

In a game that we should have won with bigger margin and have an own goal disallowed, Keegan said that we have seeing the very best of MO right now, and pleased about that.

“In that position, people thought he wouldn’t score goals - but he can’t stop scoring goals - he’s now a midfield player and a forward, so we’ve got two players in Michael.” Keegan added more from the official site, “This is the first time he’s had a run here, and the first time the fans have seen the real Michael Owen. And I’m glad they are seeing it.”

By the way, after reviewing a match preview from Sunderland Echo before the North-East derby, I was so pleased to read what they write today. They write about a defeat in this derby is death-in-the-family-time for most fans on either side. And for an awful lot of mackems, the simple truth is that if their team were to beat Boro, Bolton and Arsenal in their final three games, it wouldn’t make up for yesterday’s defeat.

Yes, actually your team was lucky only lost by two goals against the Mighty Magpies who is not playing good yesterday. I think from now, you better prepare some tissues, and weep in bitter tears when you get all those three games left end-up with another defeat.

And oh, before I forgotten. I’d like to hear your young Richardson would say now, does he still think that mackems can be as big as ManU after what he saw yesterday? Now who’s got the real “soap opera” here, Newcastle United or mackems? After three wins or so, your player think mackems will be the new premier league leader? I don’t think so :) It took another century at least, and maybe more…

We are the Geordies, the Geordie boot boys,
Oh we are mental, oh we are mad,
we are the loyalist, football supporters,
the world has ever had!

HOWAY THE LADS!!!

Mighty Magpies 2 vs Sad Mackems 0, Let’s All Laugh at Them!

April 20th, 2008 by Clarky

Utterly delighted to beat ‘em , but in truth it was a scrappy game. Despite some appallingly poor passages of play from us, we still had more about us, and for me we deserved the points.

We were never able to establish real control in midfield, and for me this was the foundation for the self-created difficulties that kept the mackems in the game for far longer than they should have been. Our midfield trio were right back to the kind of performance that got us into trouble in the first place - constantly giving the ball away, eschewing the simple pass and generally trying to be far too bloody clever.

As predicted, the mackems set out to kick anything that moved - and that was usually Michael Owen! I think they had 5 booked, and I thought one or two were fortunate not to be sent off.

To their credit, the mackems kept going despite the early goal - brilliantly put away by Owen - however, their one and only strategy was the lump to Jones, who despite winning a fair bit in the air was generally well marshalled by Taylor and Faye.

Actually, I thought Taylor was terrific today, as indeed he has been for the last few games. He and Faye are linking well, and three consecutive clean sheets is a great achievement considering what went before.

Harper really only had one save to make, a terrific reaction save from a close in header from Jones; however, I’m afraid his kicking was frequently Givenesque. Beye had another excellent game, both defensively and going forward. Enrique was very patchy, and for a guy who can pass the ball sublimely, he frequently dithered in possession in dangerous areas, and gave the ball away far too often.

Martins was at his infuriating worst, Viduka static, leaving Owen to both forage in midfield and get forward to provide the thrust in the penalty area. He had a good game, putting in a hell of shift, despite having to put up with some rough-house treatment.

From his touchline behaviour, KK clearly wasn’t satisfied with much of our play, particularly in the 2nd half. I thought his switch to 4-4-2 was timely, because we visibly ran out of legs in midfield midway through the 2nd half, and Duff’s running power helped to finally kill off the game, and unleash the real celebrations on the terraces.

Let’s See What is Inside Mackems Head

April 18th, 2008 by shearyadi

As ever, the Mackems envy to Newcastle United success has made them trying what they can to bring us down and as many as they ever try the results are often not what they want it to be. The latest example was yesterday when some sad mackems trying to humiliate me and my blog by placing an advert using their club badge.

They have succeeded for a while because I set auto approval for every advertisers who want to place their advert here (not anymore), but of course not the one from mackems. Their badge was here for around three hours before I cancel the ad and block them for trying the same thing again.

Do I feel angry? Not at all, and as you can read on my post that day, I even say thank you very, very, very much for the free traffic they brought to my blog. More than 600 hits and 750+ page views in just three hours, wow…it was the highest record ever for this blog who just starting last summer. That was a pleasant experience, and surprisingly…it’s a gift from the mackems, how nice :)

I was once even think to let the badge here until my other reguler advertisers make the highest bid and replace it automatically, but after listening to what my Toon mate said, I better take it off and I take his advice to make every new adverts should have my approval first.

But not today, after reading their filthy Sunderland Echo saying the bitter experience has taught the Mackems to expect the worst; for the Geordies, one win after six defeats would mean a challenge for the Champions League is on. I was asking for myself, who’s on earth that Geordie (if there’s any) who said we can have Champions League with one win after six defeats.

In fact, it’s written in the stars that mackems can only prepare for the worst, and it was only for the Geordies who can expecting the challenge for Champions League is on (we will try again next season) as we have been there couple times. Mackems are having difficulty to make proper judgement, jealous and so full with hate, nevermind…that was their natural habits anyway.

Time and patience is in short supply from the Geordie public when it comes to their managers delivering. And yet they showed infinite patience with former manager replacement, Kevin Keegan, who took over in the New Year.

Oh yes, we can have infinite patience for King Kevin Keegan because we know he is capable to give us what we wanted and not that previous manager. I write here again, I was a fool to have faith for BFSA at first place.

Next they write this: The national hysteria and bed-wetting from the media – Sky Sports in particular – was embarrassing to watch as people who should know better went all gooey-eyed about a story which essentially boiled down to: “failed manager takes over mid-table team”.

Well, at least wor Keegan never had to break through the opponents director office like their rookie manager did just to show his stupid out of control, disturbing anger, when his team have a game with any controversial decision from the referee ;) By the way, The national hysteria and bed-wetting from the media – Sky Sports in particular – wow…interesting one, so they don’t see them as one of those national hysteria and bed-wetting from the media? Maybe not about Kevin Keegan, how about Keano?

About Keegan need 10 games to win a match and, along the way, his side conceded six and then five to Manchester United, three to Arsenal (twice) and four to Aston Villa. Well, once again, we see that as his lessons to learn about what you people of the media said the changes of today’s league game. But, the correct one, Keegan didn’t lose 6 goals against ManU, on that game it was Nigel Pearson who took in charge.

At least as they said on their website, the mackems public were concerned, the Entertainers were back! Thank you, finally you can see it and for the very first time from all the things that you write on the article…mackems can think.

Oh, and for the very last one, they end the story with a question: Europe anyone? OH YES, WE’D LOVE TO AND WE WILL BE THERE SOON!
