Canny showing against inferior opposition, and a victory that had us pondering in ‘Rupali’ on when was the last time we had a comfortable home win, and who was the last Toon player to score a hat trick at home. Shola On Loan With Potters Until the End of Season

After making just eight appearances for Newcastle this season, Shola Ameobi will end the season as Stoke City player after signed a loan deal with the Potters for the rest of the season.

Before the confirmation of his loan signing, Ameobi has been named in the Newcastle squad for tonight’s reserve team match against Manchester United at Northwich Victoria. He finds the target in last week’s 2-2 reserve draw at Bolton Wanderers.

The Return Of Foluwashola Ameobi

He was there before, playing up front as the striker for Newcastle United since his early days in the United academy. He also have scores some important goals for Newcastle during his old times including the Champions league goal against Barcelona in Nou Camp on 11 December 2002.
