Newcastle United Injury Curse Started since 1893

October 30th, 2007 by shearyadi

Well, injury in football was not a new thing. The most closely thing to every football players beside an air-filled sphere with a circumference of 68–70 cm (or 27–28 inches), a weight of 410–450g (or 14–16 ounces), inflated to a pressure of 60–110 kPa (or 8.5–15.6 psi) thingy, was the injury ghosts.

Newcastle United has suffering from injury hit lists for many years, even for hundred years since the club first competitive match after being United from Newcastle West and East-end.

One of our greatest legend, Alan Shearer was forced to get an early retirement when he gets another knee injury during the derby match against sunderland, although he is planning to hang-up his boots after the season ends.

Press Over Reacted on Some News About Newcastle United Players and Fans?

September 5th, 2007 by shearyadi

I see a post on other Newcastle United fanzine about the press news on some of Newcastle United players recently was over reacted.

Shay Given

The latest news that was being accused as over reacted is about our number one goalkeeper, Shay Given.

Given, who was being sidelined because of an injury on the England premier League opening game at Bolton, although has been fully recover, was again sitting on the bench on last Newcastle match against Wigan Athletic.

The situation was being used by some news media that Given was unhappy with Big Sam decision and wants to talk to the manager about it.

Given now have been training intensively with his Ireland national team for the upcoming Euro2008 pre-liminary round.

Given has been quoted by some media as sying about he is not sure of what Allardyce thinking. He said that obviously he’s been out for a while with groin but he had played on Wednesday night. Given later said as maybe Allardyce felt that it was better for him not to play on Saturday.

I don’t see anything wrong with his saying. It’s natural that any player who have come from injury not being played too many for his own good. I’m not sure whether the press has quoted the real thing that Given said about or just speculations to increased their site traffic.

This is not the first time, the press was being over reacted and write something that they will regret it later.

Once you are BIG you will always BIGThe other ridiculous news report was coming from Vital-Football fanzine page. They have been write something that is childish and silly about Sam Allardyce.

Half man half walrus? Being unrealistic, when it comes to football is a way of life on Tyneside?

Give me a break!

They also said that the ‘writer` on there is a spotty, twelve-year old, educationally sub-normal chav who has only a passing acquaintance with the English language.

What do they mean by a spotty, twelve-year old, educationally sub-normal chav who has only a passing acquaintance with the English language? Is it because there’s some miserrable grammar and wrong spell, the writer is then was a 12 years-old lad?

I’m pretty sure that many of you who read this article will spotted many bad english grammar and maybe wrong spelling, but let me tell you, I’m a 36-years-old Toon Army from Indonesia, who was apparently using English as my third language.

That Bolton fan writer on vital-football is spotting on Sam Allardyce saying as astounded by Tal Ben Haim`s decision to join Chelsea. “It’s just a shame he didn’t come to me and I’ll never forgive him for that,”

Well, that was something that has been written months ago! If a mature writer can only digging on some old news and post it on some sub-directory website for small club like Bolton, then I much pay my respect to the 12 years-old writer who write something on his own website!

Mr. Richard McCormick, I wonder how old are you last year? Don’t feel so sad, you still have that “Little Sam” while your old “Big Sam” now is beginning his own revolution on other club.
