Only just a month after Mike Ashley has completed his take over of Newcastle United, now there are some ’Big Money’ owners ready to make a bid for the Magpies.

Last month, couple of Chinese consortium has made a bid to buy Newcastle again from Ashley. But the bid was quickly being rejected by the new owner of Toon, but now there is another news involving the great Toon legend Alan Shearer.

News from FoxSoccer today revealed that Jon Asgeir Johannesson, chief of Baugur - who in recent years have bought iconic British companies such as House of Fraser, Hamleys and Goldsmiths - is reported to be behind the approach along with another Icelandic Giant, Palmi Haraldsson who runs another Icelandic investment group Thera.
