Ashley intends to buy success at Newcastle?

January 10th, 2008 by Gallowgate Jim

It all depends on Ashley’s intentions with regard to how much money he will be giving. Did he give Allardyce relatively low amounts of money because that’s all he intends to spend every summer? Or was it because he wanted “his man” in place first?

Remember he is in the 25th richest Brit. He could quite easily do an Abramovich. We could compete with their spending if he decided to. If he is a real fan (he has been sitting amongst the toon fans at away games) perhaps this is his intention.

If it is, then he must appoint someone like Mourinho with Knowledge of the top stars accross Europe.

If it isn’t, and he intends to give the next manager small amounts of cash then it didn’t change things. I’m not sure the likes of Mourhinio would be the best option. Perhaps in this situation someone like Sam Allardyce would be the perfect man for the job.

I pray to God that he has sacked Allardyce precisely because he wants to start spending big money and isn’t confident that Allardyce is the right man for the job. Hopefully he intends to buy success. It won’t bother me at all.

If he intends to carry on spending a mere £20 millions with a different bloke like Redknapp he’ll soon see the fans turn on him. If he’s a supporter I’m sure he can give us another £50 millions this summer.

Ashley To Sell Newcastle United…Again?

December 3rd, 2007 by shearyadi

Howay the Lads!!! Stop reading tribal football now, you don’t get anything from them but only read poisonous article that will destroy your morale as genuine Toon Army. What the hell, the papers really don’t help at all, the tabloids are selling stupid news and you only become even more stupid if you read and believe it.

I have told you before that newspapers and tabloids are the ‘Real Bollocks’ and what they say just no more than 25% the truth. I’m sick of reading all the bullshits, and no longer believe in whatever they said about Newcastle United.

Yes, we were not performing good but that doesn’t mean that we will get relegated whatsoever and the owner is going to sell out the club. Bring on Wednesday tomorrow, skip the Tuesday. Let the truth be told sooner, heaven cannot wait!!!

Mike Ashley is Genuine Toon Army

November 10th, 2007 by shearyadi

Mike Ashley decided to sit with all the Newcastle supporters with his Toon top instead of not wearing his shirt and sit on the macKems director box. What a spirit! This is the most precious kind of support from the owner of Newcastle United, something that was never happened before in the Premier League history from any other Premierships club executive.

Mike AshleyThe Lads should not let him and around 3,000 Toon Army disappointed, this is the game that we should not get lost in. The fact is we never get lose on their home since 1979-1980 season, and Sam Allardyce should not making a new record break history for the opposite team, like he did last week. This time it would be very unacceptable.

Newcastle United chairman Chris Mort will be on the directors box alongside with mackems Chairman Niall Quinn.

Steve Wraith, editor of Players’ Inc, as quoted from Chronicle, said: “It is not very often you get a chairman wanting to wear a top at a match and a lot more cynical fans probably saw it as a publicity stunt when he wore it as Middlesbrough.”

August 27th, 2007 by shearyadi

Toon Army BossMike Ashley finally made his appearance in public since his complete take over of Toon. He was in the stands cheering on the Magpies during our 2-2 draw with rivals Middlesbrough.

He is even sporting his black and white colours complete with the name and number of - “Smith - 17″. What a pleasant support and that was a very good boost for the moral of our players and managers, although his first game attend was end up in square.

Sam Allardyce said afterwards that Mr. Ashley certainly appeared to enjoy himself and given his celebration when Charles N’Zogbia opened the scoring in the first-half.
