Michael Owen scores twice as England leading Russia 2-0 up in half-time. Both goal coming from a great England set pieces where the first goal came from a delicious passing from Gareth Barry to leave Owen unmarked infront of Russia goal and he slice the ball in.

Second goal from Owen was even more brilliantly taken. Heskey flick-on inside the penalty area once again down to Owen’s foot which is again unmarked, he volley the ball…

Duo Happy to Scores for Toon Army

Both our last night goal-scorers, Owen and Martins are expressing how happy they are to have scores in front of the magnificent Toon Army. Especially for Owen who has scored his first goal in 20 months for the Magpies.
Against Barnsley, Owen opening scores for the Toon in 57 minutes after some series of dangerous penetration from Toon players in the first half didn’t get into target.

Owen put first test to Sam’s Scientific Football at Newcastle

Michael Owen is putting the first real test to Sam Allardyce’s “Scientific Football” at Newcastle after the prime England and Newcastle striker has picking up a thigh injury in training today.

The 27-year-old picked up a minor injury in shooting practice and will be out of Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Carlisle and the Celtic’s match.
