James, James, James Milner!!! There’s Only One James Milner!!!

December 14th, 2007 by shearyadi

This is not just about how good he is as a footballer, actually not just good, he is a great footballer for Newcastle United this season and his future with Black-and-White will be shining bright. This one is a real story from a friend of mine who is accidently meet James Milner while doing a shopping for Christmas.

image

Mungo, a good friend of mine from the NotBBC forum was doing his incredible shopping list at CostCo two days ago. He is buying 24x Stella, 24x Peroni, 24x Kronenbourg, 12x Wolf Blass, Yellow Label Chardonnay and 12x Rosemount Shiraz. That should keep him going til Xmas Eve, and still have to buy some for New Years. Read more of his great “Shopping Report”.

While busy with his stuffs, Mungo saw little Jamie Milner and his Mom and Dad were in CostCo doing exactly the same. Obviously thrilled and over the moon to bump into a celebrity, the Milner family however refrained from harassing me for my autograph, funny lad.

Milner’s family is truly a lovely family and I think mum and dad liked me cos I got an invite over for a xmas drink on Boxing Day[1] but I told them, I would have to decline the offer cos me and Jamie were down at Wigan on that day.

One thing that comes on my mind, with all their (Milner’s) money, they’re was no need to go to a discount warehouse to get the provisions in? But then again, wor lass[2] pointed out that I should ask myself the same question?

“Must dash, I have to check on the Emre family to see how they are getting on” Mungo end his report with his Christmas hope being world-widely published :)

Now a little bit football. Milner is one great asset for Newcstle United. He is not just great on the field but also a humble young lad outside St. James’s Park. Mungo is so lucky to have meet him I must admitted.

But for Big Sam, he is backing United’s winger James Milner to continues his top-flight education in tomorrow’s game with Fulham at Craven Cottage. Sam Allardyce will need all his first team squad ready for a crucial away fixture and will try to get our (only) second away win this season. The Toon Army will backing the United team in the Craven Cottage’s Putney End.

“We know what we have to do now, and that’s to put an unbeaten run together, like Everton have done.” Said Allardyce, “They didn’t have the best of starts, and yet I think they’re now unbeaten in 11 matches and this is something we’re looking to do.”

And I guess, Big Sam already know to whom he will put his hope for another sparkling performance. Before flying to London, Allardyce told the Chronicle, “James Milner is a hugely experienced Premier League player now at 21, and he can only get better from here.”

Sorry Theo, but This is Wor Milner Time to Score

November 17th, 2007 by shearyadi

Theo Walcott seems so desperate to prove himself good and can score for England so that the teenage Arsenal forward had a tug-of-war with James Milner last night, on who will take the penalty for England Under-21 Euro 2009 side’s qualifying stages against Bulgaria.

England’s & Newcastle James Milner

Walcott showing a masterful second-half display including a fine run which led to the Liverpool’s goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov bringing him down for the decisive penalty. Walcott’s involved in an unseemly episode with Milner when he insists to take the penalty, however, the England coach Stuart Pearce said that Milly was selected to take penalties but credit to Theo.
