Fabricio Coloccini the answer to Newcastle United worst defensive record

The wait is over, Fabrizio Coloccini is now Newcastle most expensive defender so far. Previous record holder was held by Jonathan Woodgate with a £9 million transfer fee. His record surpassed by Coloccini from a Deportivo official claim that his fee could rise to around £10.3million.

After the long conversation between Newcastle side and Deportivo’s officials, 26-year-old Coloccini looks set to wear the sacred Black-and-White this season after both clubs reach the final agreement for his transfer.

Kevin Keegan insists that he will bring two or three new signings before the end of summer transfer windows in about a month. The latest “possible” signing this week is the Argentinian midfielder Fabrizio Coloccini.
