Ok, So You Have Seen The New Toon?

Been crawling the net to see what others think about yesterday fixture against Fulham. Have read some good opinions as well as ridiculous ones from what so called “Newcastle Supporter”. I can’t blame them all for what they’ve write about as you can blame me too for what I’m writing about.

But one thing that irritated me much is the opinion about Alan Smith. In my honest opinion, Smudge is wor most consistent players so far this season. No matter where Big Sam asked him to play, he does it as good as any experienced player did on that position.

Smith can do better infront as a striker, and he only have that chance for around three games lately, so I don’t get it when suddenly someone pointing at him as non-consistent player. How many times you see him playing in his real position this season, where were you my dear Toon “supporter”?

Alright, we leave it that way, Smith will prove his quality with his football, and he doesn’t care much of what the papers or some “bandwagon” fans think about him.

Now about last game, Allardyce has praised his Newcastle United players for their determination.

“It’s fantastic to get an away win and keep a clean sheet.” Said Allardyce, “It’s a vitally important three points because it keeps our run going and I must praise the lads for sticking together in recent weeks.”

“Points are all-important in the Premier League. We dealt with what Fulham had to offer and waited for our opportunity. We got one at the very end and got three very valuable points,” he said as quoted from SkySports.

“We have played much, much better than this and lost, particularly in our last away game when we played Blackburn off the park. Today we probably didn’t deserve to win but they certainly didn’t deserve to, that’s for sure.”

To me, this is more of “Lucky” than “Fantastic”. If what he means by fantastic is how lucky we are to win, I agree. But as a Toon fan, I’m happy we win two games in a row with possibility to make it three wins on next Sunday when we take on Derby County.

Hmmm, Derby County. It’s so sweet if we can make them going home with heads all down. This one is a payback time for what they did to us on the first encounter at their home last September.
