Newcastle United star Michael Owen has declared himself fit and ready for the England duties this week-end against Estonia at Wembley and next Wednesday’s crucial tie with Russia in Moscow.

Some newspaper writting today about a collision between Owen and Sam Allardyce for Newcastle striker decision to play for two England games in four days. Sam is said that Owen still need some rest after his operation last week.Although he was on as substition and scores for United in 3-2 win against Everton, it is clearly that Allardyce is not pushing him to play for full 90 minutes.

“I don’t know whether two games in such a short space of time is right,” Allardyce complained as quoted from the FOXSports.

But Owen insisted about playing, and he is spoken based on what his surgeon said about his fitness, “I don’t see why there was any risk in me playing” Owen said.

Well, that was the newspapers said, but we don’t know the truth behind it. We will never know how the both side handled the situation, Owen and Allardyce.

More of that Allardyce vowing to contact England boss Steve McClaren to outline his concerns. In my honest opinion, Steve McClaren must have knew it and I don’t think he will risks Owen fitness on Saturday and Wednesday. The good settlement is to play Owen in just one half in both Estonia and Russia games.

He will doing fine then and both National team and Newcastle United can have the benefits from fit Michael Owen.
