Newcastle United players are back in form again to maintain unbeaten record this season yesterday against Everton with a 3-2 win at St. James’ Park.

One important thing to get underlined from yesterday’s match is how Michael Owen re-act with a solid performance just 8 days after his operation in Germany.

Coming in as substitue in just 15 minutes before the final whistle, together with Emre, Owen involved in two Newcastle’ salvo to get the Magpies lead 3-1.

Owen’s cross was half cleared by Everton and with the ball felt into Emre’ feet, he gives the ball a left footed laser beam from outside of the box flew past Howard.

Allardyce said: “The subs have turned the game our way. We’ve scored three terrific goals today – goals which deserve to win any Premier League match.”

We’ve only come in 1-0 up in the first-half and Big Sam said the Premier League is a very difficult place to play – when you don’t take full advantage. He is talking about how Oba have missed three great chances for him to scores in the first 45 minutes.

Another difficult game for Martins yesterday and it would have cost us something after Nicky Butt’s opener been equalized by Andy Johnson.

On the hour mark Newcastle must have dealt in another blow when Smith’s foul on Lescott resulted in a yellow card which means his fifth of the season and he will be missing in couple of United’ games.

Thanks to both super-subs that turned the game for us. Owen said: “We’ve put in a decent performance. We haven’t been putting in great performances, but with this crowd behind you anything is possible so it’s nice to get three points today.”

More than 50,000 crowds at St. James’ Park yesterday errupted in joy when Emre scores and get even high fly when Owen headed the third goals in dying minutes of normal time.

The good points from yesterday performance is that we have great-great coverings on the back. With Beye and Caçapa filled in centre-back and Beye-Enrique both playing full-backs, the defence looks solid rock. Besides the two “lucky” goals from Andy Johnson and injury time blow from Given, the defence performing well.

Spanish Bull Jose Enrique showing off the Toon Army what he can do for the team, and he provides several great passing that we have rarely seen recently.

Alan Smith also giving another headache for Allardyce with his impressive determination when partnering Martins. He has wins most of the ball in the air yesterday which is what Sam expecting in Mark Viduka.

All in All, good result from a great performance from the Lads. Hope this kind of performance can also performed when we playing outside the fortress st. James’.

Howay the Lads!!!
