Expressions from a Football Expert?

This one came in from the Sky website. They have an article about Sam Allardyce from someone called Matt Dickinson of the Times. Not related to Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson I think, but he seems to know a little more of football than…errr Me.

He (Dickinson) believes that a lack of stability at the helm as much as the players’ performance is the biggest problem on Tyneside. Well, no need an expert to write something about this one, it was the thing that has been going on for the last ten years at Newcastle, and each time we have the new ‘Hot Seat’ sitter the reactions from the press are the same.

“If you think you have got the right manager in charge – and Sam is a good manager capable of improving that club – then you’ve got to let the manager manage,” said Dickinson.

If that was your truly opinion then Mr. Dickinson, you don’t have to added more words of doubt about Sam on your next quotes, “To be honest, I’d have gone for Martin O’Neill or David Moyes ahead of Sam,”

Those are typical of the press nowadays, and to quote Sam’s said about we (Newcastle team) are the worst enemy ourself, the truth is what the press said (including internet media, like this blog) were also sometimes the enemies for the club and its players. Why I’m saying that?

Here’s more about that. The press are public enemy number one for some polished words, cosmetics opinion and very business oriented, which is become worst and worst recently. They love to spreading the rumours, write-up something that is often unpropriate and mostly rubbish. Mostly means there is some news that can be swallowed, but many of them must to cough-up.

Now about the internet media, some of the supporters website and blog are just the speakers of the press but there are also some blog sites who have the genuine Toon voices, they don’t speak bullshits, they are the club and players enemies for the good of the club and players. Supporters blog site only want the club to be successful, they have supported the club for long, even before the Newcastle United being Internationally recognize.

We are have had enough of quotes like ‘we love playing here for the club’, ‘we want to bring silverwares’, ‘i believe we can be champions’ blah, blah, blah…we want the truth from it, so practice what you speech!
