The silent act of Michael Owen about his future in Newcastle United’s Black-and-white shirt has launched some speculations and rumours about a new striker to replace him this season.

Dutch Hitman on the move to Newcastle United

The 23-year-old Dutchman center-forward, Maceo Rigters who is currently playing for NAC Breda, has been starring for Holland during the European Under-21 Championships, and his performances have caught the eye of Sam Allardyce.

Meanwhile, Alan Smith been reported by The Daily Mirror has made a deal with Newcastle that will bring him to play for Toon in a transfer switch at £3.5m from Manchester United.

Ben Haim has decided yesterday that He will play with Chelsea after going to paranormal Uri Geller for an advice. How ridiculous this is, although I know how attractive Chelsea is, but IMHO, Ben was more needed at Newcastle than Chelsea.

You may said that I told you that because I’m a Newcastle fan, but that’s the real fact. Chelsea has plenty of good central defenders and I don’t think Ben will guaranteed a first …
