The first three words that come up on my mind were WTF!!! The Club official site said to be very disappointed that James sees his footballing future as being away from St. James’ Park, while in my personal opinion, there’s nothing we can do about things like this, so be it!

Newcastle Final Countdown in summer transfer window

The window closes on Sept 1 this year, which is next Monday, after being extended by one day because the 31st August falls on a Sunday. 8 days left, what’s going to happen? Keegan speaks of at least 2, hopefully 3, more players coming in.

We may have to admit that we’re far from the top four placement this season and for the next 2 or 3 years from now, but we can expect some silverwares on domestic League Cup or the FA Cup during the process.

As expected, notloB were hard to break down. They came with little invention and seemed pretty happy to hoof the ball up to Davies and Nolan when he got forward. First half was 0-0 (as I’m sure you all know), but I thought we’d shaded it, if only we did more attacking play.
