Southerners Will Never Understand and Will Never Be

March 21st, 2008 by shearyadi

I have my own visitor who write a critique about my post here on this blog, and I wonder what he/she comment will be if that new friend of mine read the other blog article about Keegan as quoted below.

As Newcastle United hover around the relegation zone, the question is: Was Keegan’s appointment a mistake?

It almost certainly is. From the very beginning it looked like a bad move hiring a manager who less than six months ago said he would probably never manage again. It was not the best start. Add to this the fact that he hasn’t managed a football side in three years and we’re looking at a guy who would be lucky to get a gig in the Championship.

The reason for Keegan’s appointment is simple, Newcastle chairman Mike Ashley is a fan and Kevin was around for the glory days. Unfortunately the way to restore such things isn’t to bring back that manager.

The game moves and you have to move with it. Keegan may well be able to help bring in some pride and he may even be a useful man to speak to the players, but that’s not enough to make him the manager.

Thanks, but if you guys keep posting or only can post negative opinion about Newcastle United, you’d better stop doing it. Write anything else that fit on your tiny-minded Southerner glory hunters like sportsmanship, will ya? About Keegan, you’ll never understand and will never be. It’s what we believe and we don’t need any outsiders thought about him or about our team.

Right, just forget about it and to be honest I was a fool to read that stupid article at first place. I suggest you my fellow Toon Army to ignore that such idiotic journalism and believe me, we will laughing at them out loud this summer and for most of the upcoming seasons.

Wake Up and Smell the Victory Now or Never

March 17th, 2008 by shearyadi

The only thing that I want from the lads this morning when they wake up was nothing but a smell of victory against Birmingham City tonight. Today is the most biggest challenge for their Toon commitment, today is their future as well as the pride of Newcastle United.

I hope everyone will have the same high spirited passion as what Harper has said, “If anybody is under-estimating what relegation would do for this club, he shouldn’t be here. We know we are in a battle.”

To be honest, I also have a little bit of fear to see that most of our regular first team squad this year has the experience of relegation and it will have some bad effects to their mentality regarding to the situation we’re in these days.

Mark Viduka, Alan Smith and James Milner all have been went down once with Leeds, while Damien Duff was relegated with Blackburn. When being out for loan, Nicky Butt suffered the drop with Birmingham. Our new signing Habib Beye was also experienced the dropped with Strasbourg.

So now, they’re supposed to do all their best to avoid the same experience to happened with Newcastle United. Sad to admit that some of them were actually the weakness part of United squad through a season long.

“We have five tough away games, and this one is the biggest game in the club’s recent history,” Harper continued, “It’s the biggest game we’ve had for a long, long time. There’s always pressure at this place and everybody knows it’s a pressure cooker - more than at any other club. Every game is a big game at this club, but the Birmingham match is absolutely massive.”

Howay the Lads!!! Up the Toon!!!

We have the Chance to Steer Away the Relegation Threat

March 16th, 2008 by shearyadi

It is all up to you now my dear Newcastle United squad, show us some respect for all the supports that we have given this year. Fulham is winning today if you guys are too busy to training and never look at the Premier League results and table, we’re in critical condition!

For God’s sake, we need something good at St. Andrews and we really mean it this time. No more sloppy defending, no more lazy midfield action and please do start to scoring EMO, or you have forgotten how to kick the ball into the net? Andy Carrol surely knows how to do it.

Without James Milner as he is still suffering the foot injury from the Anfield game, Shay Given still out too with his best friend names groin, Emre still dating with the calf and Stephen ‘When we see him leave?’ Carr keep playing with hamstring, the King must be having a very bad headache at the moment.

On the other side, Birmingham defender Martin Taylor will not be able to play as he will served the third of a three-match ban for his sending off against Arsenal, while their striker Cameron Jerome, may be able to play after swallowed some pain killer pills.

But, Lamine Diatta (if he actually played) must aware of Sebastian Larsson who has scores two goals in their last two matches.

TOON STATS at ST.ANDREW’S - PREMIERSHIP YEARS:
2006/07: 2-2 Taylor, Dyer (FA Cup)
2005/06: 0-0
2004/05: 2-2 Jenas, Butt
2003/04: 1-1 Speed
2002/03: 2-0 Solano, Ameobi
2000/01: 1-2 Dyer (League Cup)
1999/00: 0-2 (League Cup)

Have sign in for United this week, Diatta is determined to help steer Newcastle United away from the threat of relegation, he has agree in a short-term deal at St.James’ Park with an extention contract is possible in the summer if Keegan sees him as valuable asset for United.

“I know that the club are not in a good position in the table at the moment and I want to do all I can to help.” He said, “I am very happy to be here but there is a job to do. This club has enough good players to avoid relegation and I’m sure we will do that.”

Diatta will join other Senegal players currently playing for Toon, Habib Beye and Abdoulaye Faye. He admits it was nice to see some familiar faces around United’s training ground.

“Having Habib and Abdoulaye here will be a big help,” he added. “We have played together for the national team and they are both very good players.”

Diatta who has been released by Besiktas earlier this year is confident he will be able to adapt quickly into his new environment and more physical of the English Premier League style of play.

“It will be a challenge for me but I am very confident I will adapt. It is a very high standard in England and I am ready for that.” he said.

Welcome to the club Lamine, do all your best as we need a player with dedication and fighting spirit. Show us that you are worth to wear the sacred Black and White stripes, and you are proud of it!
