Blackburn Rovers vs Newcastle United

December 1, 2007 · Filed Under Match Report · Comment

Newcastle in my opinion will start with 4-4-1-1 formation today with Allardyce welcomes back Joey Barton, James Milner and Abdoulaye Faye to the Magpies starting XI for Saturday’s fixture at Blackburn.

Milner, Oba Martins and Alan Smith forming a three-pronged attack. N’Zogbia is likely to play wide as left-wing back, but Steven Taylor is likely missed out this weekend game. Beye, Rozehnal and Faye will back-to-back with Zog.

Faye returns to the defence at the expense of…

Non Existence vs Liverpool, 0 - 3 Second-Half Report

Sad, very sad to see the way former entertainers team doing recently. I have to admit that Big Sam must take the England job in a matter of time sooner as Mike Ashley have said that he will not stand in Allardyce’s way if he goes for the England job.

The visitors only need less than a minute into second half and got the corner almost immediately from kick off: Gerrard swings a terrible corner in,…

Off to an early Saturday kick-off, the fixtures of Newcastle and Liverpool today is starting a bit low in the first 10 minutes with both team seems to just warming up in a cold North East pre-winter season. Scott Murray of the Guardian write about the game as a bit of a nondescript start.

In the first five minutes, Gerrard wins a corner down the left and takes it himself. It’s swung in and palmed away…

The second-half starts without further changes from both side. With the mackems do the kick-off at restart. They immediately work on as Leadbitter slipped a low pass to the unmarked Wallace. He works an angle wide of Milner before standing one up at the far post for Jones to attack, the striker gets his header away but Harper is able to save to his left.

Newcastle (3) vs (1) Spurs - Joey On the Bench

Oba Martins 45′, Caçapa 51′, Milner 73′ - Robbie Keane 57′

Sam Allardyce still add Joey Barton on the bench while Newcastle playing against Spurs tonight. Barton who has just recover from broken metatarsal is considered fit, but Big Sam will not push him to make a starter.

Another great appearance from the Bulls Enrique as he tries to get Martins away from Spurs defenders. Dawson is the only one who try to cut out the Spaniard’s…

Not just that Newcastle United is (once again) lost in a game, but most of all, the Lads looks like not in the mood to hang-on to Martins goal and go back to North-East with three points.

After watching Oba Martins proved what he said yesterday about how sorry he is to not scoring against Arsenal on Carling Cup, with a great taken goal in 29 minutes, the game suddenly turns into “Get Back All of…
